Mac Tip – How to Record iPad or iPhone on Your Mac

If you have an iOS device(iPad or iPhone) and a Mac and would like to record the device screen for a video or to share the device screen at an interview, you can follow the steps in this blog.

To connect

  1. Connect iPad or iPhone to Mac via USB
  2. Accept the “Trust this Device” prompt on iPad or iPhone
  3. Open QuickTime, select New Movie Recording, and, at the camera dropdown, select the desired device as the recording camera.
